Join us for the 2024 NTGPA Annual Meeting!

The North Texas Chapter of the Gas Processors Association (NTGPA) is excited to announce the 2024 Annual Meeting, scheduled for November 18. This one-day conference and networking event will feature speakers discussing relevant industry topics, providing a valuable opportunity for professionals in the midstream industry to exchange ideas and build relationships. The Annual Meeting is a cornerstone event for NTGPA, reflecting our commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the industry. Continuing Education Credit: A certificate for 5 hours of continuing education/personal development hours (PDH) will be offered to each attendee.

Jack Weixel is a Senior Director with East Daley Analytics and plays a key role in product development and client support focused on the natural gas, crude oil and NGL markets. He has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry spanning regulatory, legislative and market-centric roles and initiatives with companies deeply embedded in the industry. 

Jack comes to East Daley from S&P Global/IHS Markit where he ran the real-time natural gas market business under the Americas Gas service.  Prior to IHS Markit, Jack was with the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) where he helped build that company’s first ever natural gas fundamentals shop, PointLogic Energy.

Prior to joining OPIS and IHS Markit, Jack was a director for Bentek Energy, managing its North American Natural Gas, European Gas, and GIS business units in addition to serving on the company’s Senior Leadership Team. He previously led the company’s Client Services division along with the company’s Midcontinent and Canadian natural gas desks. Before joining Bentek in 2006, Jack spent seven years as a senior energy regulatory consultant for the EOP Group, Inc. in Washington, DC after working in the U.S. Senate.

He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University and a degree in Finance from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He also serves on the board of directors for Energy Outreach Colorado and is a past board member of Denver CASA.

Chris Sonneborn is Vice President for Project Controls and System Planning for Energy Transfer. He oversees the planning and hydraulic analysis of Energy Transfer’s portfolio of intrastate gas transmission, gathering, and liquid pipeline and rotating equipment assets, as well as working closely with the company’s Alternative Energy team exploring opportunities in the renewable fuels, hydrogen, ammonia, and carbon capture and sequestration spaces. He also has the project controls team, overseeing project risk analysis, scheduling, and forecasting for major projects. Chris has over 27 years of experience in the midstream industry, working in a variety of roles including project management, project engineering, estimating, SCADA development, leak detection, and hydraulic analysis.

Chris has held a number of board positions and currently serves as the Chair for the Emerging Fuels Institute under Pipeline Research Council International. He holds a Bachelor of Science (1993) and a Master of Science degree (2001) in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on optimization and fluid dynamics from Rice University.

John Kassin attended Texas Tech University where he received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.  John has nine years of process engineering experience in various facilities.  He has worked in CO2 EOR operations at Kinder Morgan CO2 and olefins manufacturing at Chevron Phillips Chemical.  John joined EnLink Midstream in 2023, supporting their CCS projects. He is currently a process engineer for EnLink Midstream in their North Texas and Oklahoma facilities.

Mitchell McCradic attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Energy & Earth Resources.  Mitchell began his career in the Oil & Gas Industry at El Paso Corporation.  He transitioned to the midstream sector when he joined PVR Partners which was eventually acquired by Regency Gas Partners.  Mitchell has had myriad of experiences in the midstream sector from hydraulic modeling to business development engineering.  He is currently a project manager for EnLink Midstream in its Major Projects Group.

Trey Price is a seasoned energy professional and Co-Founder of Guidepost Energy, where he serves as Managing Partner. Since February 2023, he has led the company in delivering innovative energy management solutions that focus on power generation, retail power consumption, and load optimization services through consulting and Level QSE services. Trey’s extensive experience in the sector is complemented by strong market insights and strategic vision, which are instrumental in guiding clients through the complexities of Behind-the-Meter Generation, Demand Response, and complimentary Power Procurement Strategies.

Prior to his current role, Trey held several key positions, including Senior Managing Director of Business Development at Priority Power Management, and was a Co-Founder and Executive Vice President at MP2 Energy, which was acquired by Shell Energy North America in 2017. At MP2 he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategy and direction and co-headed sales, trading, and risk. With a background that includes roles at Credit Suisse, Champion Energy Services, and MPower, Trey has cultivated a robust network and a deep understanding of the energy market, positioning him as a leader in energy management solutions.
