GIVING BACK
GPA Midstream North Texas Chapter (NTGPA) provides opportunities throughout the year for members to support the communities in which they live. Each community outreach event gives members a chance to work together and meet & mingle with friends and peers from the local oil and gas industry.

NORTH TEXAS FOOD BANK
North Texas GPA Midstream Chapter raised money in June 2020 for the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) to help them with their mission of “closing the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food. And during uncertain times like these, we turn to you, to ensure we are able to continue our important work.”
GÁMEZ FAMILY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Mrs. Cindy Gámez has dedicated a significant amount of time for many years to make the NTGPA what it is today. Her husband, Daniel, has also been by her side quietly assisting in everything that is done behind the scenes. In 2019 he received open-heart surgery to replace his aortic valve with an artificial one. Due to the extensive recovery, he was unable to work until he was back to full-strength. The costly medical bills and reduced income were a huge burden for this important couple. NTGPA held a gofundme which raised $6,365 and they matched every dollar contributed up to $5,000.
BOB TUTTLE MEMORIAL CLAY SHOOT
The 2018 Sporting Clay Event was held in honor of our very good friend and peer, Bob Tuttle, who passed away in May 2018. Bob organized, hosted, and ran the NTGPA annual clay shoot for almost 25 years. So, if any year in the past two and a half decades you have enjoyed a North Texas GPA clay shoot, won a gun, or experienced the hospitality and comradery of the event, you have Bob to thank for that. He put in countless hours not only towards our annual shoot but also into making sure the North Texas GPA has been and will continue to be a premier GPA chapter. In addition to his work with the North Texas GPA Board, Bob was a longtime GPSA board member. He was recognized with several Volunteer & Recognition Awards over the years for his dedicated association involvement. He will truly be missed.
CARTHAGE TEXAS FIRE DEPARTMENT
In September 2014, NTGPA presented the Carthage Fire Department with a $23,000 donation earmarked for the purchase of confined space rescue equipment. The chapter, along with member companies Azure Midstream, DCP Midstream, and MarkWest Energy Partners, collectively contributed to the total donation amount, allowed the department to purchase on-scene safety and rescue equipment critical to the gas plant incident response.
